Combivent inhaler consists of 2 active ingredients namely Salbutamol and Ipratropium.. Combivent is used to treat breathlessness due to constriction of muscles in the walls of bronchioles. Ipratropium inhibits secretions from glands lining the nasal mucosa. Combivent inhaler is used to treat asthma and the disease of the lungs where the airways become narrowed known as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
