WELLBUTRIN SR (ZYBAN)

Wellbutrin SR is a prescription medicine.

The initial dose of Wellbutrin SR is 150 mg in a day. The maximum dose should not exceed 400 mg in case of Extended release tablets, 200 mg in case of sustained release tablets. In case of prompt release tablets, the initial recommended dose is 300 mg in a day which should be taken at 3 equal intervals. The maximum dosage should not exceed 450 mg.

Wellbutrin SR is used for the treatment of acute depressive state of mind.

Wellbutrin should not be given to minor patients ( less than 18 years old).
In patients having a liver disease or a heart disease, this medication should be used only after your doctor's advice.
In case of choking of throat, swollen lips, arms and legs, or any other sever allergic reaction, seek immediate medical help.
Patients using Wellbutrin SR should avoid the use of dangerous machinery and the hazardous activities.

• Bupropion should not be used by patients who are allergic to it and its ingredients.
• Pregnant women should not buy Wellbutrin SR as it may harm the unborn child.
• Breast feeding mothers should not Purchase Wellbutrin SR as it may pass into the breast milk and cause harm to the baby.
• In children, this medicine should be used cautiously to avoid any untoward incidents like suicidal attempts and thoughts.

Wellbutrin SR is a medicine used to treat patients suffering from a condition of feeling sad or despondent. This condition is called Depression. It is a psychiatric disorder characterized by an inability to concentrate, insomnia, loss of appetite, anhedonia, feelings of extreme sadness, guilt, helplessness and hopelessness, and thoughts of death. It is also known as clinical depression.
Every tablet of Wellbutrin SR contains Bupropion hydrochloride.

Wellbutrin SR can cause severe fits or increase the severity of fits in patients who already suffer from them. If the dosage is high ( 300 - 450 mg per day ) it may increase more.
There are other conditions which may increase the risk of fits like previous history of fits or emotional damage, cardinal signs of inflammation, Liver damage or liver disease.

Bupropion tablets should be taken with a glass of water and as directed by your doctor. It can be taken with or without food. The tablets should not be broken or crushed. They should be swallowed as a whole. The dosage should not be increased or decreased without the doctor's advice.
