ACCUCHECK Softclix Lancets is an OTC product.

ACCUCHECK Softclix Lancets are used to check the blood glucose levels.

• The lancets should not be used if the caps are not there.
• The lancets should be disposed off after use in needle containers.

• The device should not be used if protective guard has been previously removed from lancet.
• The lancets should not be reused.
• The instructions should be carefully read prior to the use of the device.

Accu-Chek Softclix Lancets are used for testing the amount of sugar in the blood especially in patients with diabetes. The surgical knife meant for the purpose of extracting the blood from the body is comparatively smaller and provides more ease and is less painful. It provides accurate penetration of the needle and lessens the discomfort.

The device should not be used if protective guard has been previously removed from lancet.
The lancets should not be reused.
The Lancets should always be kept in the device to avoid any accidental injury.
The instructions should be carefully read prior to the use of the device.

The hands should be properly washed first before holding the device.
Unscrew the cap from the Accu-Chek Softclix device.
A new lancet should be inserted into the holder. When there is a click sound that means the lancet is inserted properly.
The lancet cap should be pulled away by rotating it a bit.
Screw the cap onto the device and turn the cap clockwise until you cannot turn it any further.
The device should be held in the hand and the release button should be pushed.
The body part should be pressed a bit to get the blood.
Once the blood sample is out, it should be put on the test strip.
After it is done, the lancet should be removed from the device soon after.
