Lantus Vial is a Prescription Medicine.

The dose of Glargine depends upon the level of blood sugar in the body. The doctor my increase or decrease the dosage depending upon the condition of the patient.

Lantus Vial is used to treat high level of blood sugar, a condition called Diabetes Mellitus.

ALWAYS CHECK THE APPEARANCE OF YOUR BOTTLE OF INSULIN. If you notice anything unusual or if you see solid particles or clumps, discard the bottle and begin using a new bottle of insulin.
CARRY IDENTIFICATION at all times that states you have Diabetes and use Insulin.
INJECT EACH DOSE OF INSULIN in a different area to prevent skin irritation. AN INSULIN REACTION resulting from too low a blood sugar may occur if you take too much insulin, skip a meal, or exercise too much.
If you experience the symptoms of an insulin reaction including sudden onset of a cold sweat, dizziness, fatigue, shakiness, rapid heartbeat, nausea, vision changes, or personality change or confusion, immediately drink or eat a sugar-containing product.

Lantus Vial is used to treat patients having high levels of glucose in the blood. This condition is called Diabetes Mellitus. It acts as a substitute to the naturally produced hormone in the human body called Insulin. In patients suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, insulin is not produced in required quantity. Lantus Vial acts as this hormone and controls the level of sugar in the blood.

Lantus Vial should not be used if the patient is allergic to its ingredients. Patients having history of low blood sugar should not take this medication.

Glargine should not be used if there are suspended particles in the solution or if the color of the solution has changed.

Before using the Lantus injection or the syringe to induce the medicine, a safety measure test is recommended to check if the needle is broken or not. It also checks for any air bubbles in the syringe.

The injection should be filled and kept at normal temperature 2 hours prior to injecting it.

The area where the dose is injected should be changed so as to avoid any skin allergies or reactions.
