SUDAFED 12 HOUR DECONGESTANT NON-DROWSY

Sudafed is an OTC product.

Active Ingredients: in each tablet: Pseudoephedrine HCl 120 mg (Nasal decongestion)

Inactive Ingredients: Candelilla Wax, Hypromellose, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Cellulose Acetate, Polyethylene Glycol, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Povidone, Titanium Dioxide

Sudafed is used for the treatment of Nasal congestion.

Do NOT use Sudafed 12 Hour if:

• you are allergic to any ingredient in Sudafed 12 Hour
• you are taking furazolidone or have taken a monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor (eg, phenelzine) in the last 14 days
• you have severe high blood pressure, severe heart blood vessel disease, a rapid heartbeat, or severe heart problems

Ask your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

This medication should not be used by anyone who:

• has taken monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitors within 14 days or who intends to take such a medication in the next 14 days
• has severe high blood pressure, or severe coronary artery disease
• is allergic to pseudoephedrine or any of the ingredients of the medication

Pseudoephedrine belongs to a group of medications called decongestants. It is used to relieve symptoms of nasal or sinus congestion that occur with allergies, sinusitis, ear infections, and the common cold. Pseudoephedrine works by clearing and draining the nasal passages and sinuses.

Sudafed 12 Hour provides temporary relief of nasal congestion due to the common cold, hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies, and nasal congestion associated with sinusitis. Promotes nasal and/or sinus drainage; temporarily relieves sinus congestion and pressure.

Use Sudafed 12 Hour as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for dosing instructions.

• Take Sudafed 12 Hour with food, water, or milk to minimize stomach irritation.
• Swallow Sudafed 12 Hour whole. Do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing.
• If you miss a dose of Sudafed 12 Hour and are taking it regularly, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take 2 doses at once.
