Ventolin Inhaler 200Mcg/60 Doses

Ventolin is a Prescription Medicine.

Ventolin dose in case of inhaler should be 1-2 inhalations in a tme period of 4-6 hours. In case of Ventolin Solution, it should be 2 or 4 mg given 3-4 times every day. In case of tablets, it is same as solution dosage.

Ventolin is used for the treatment of Asthma- Bronchospasm

• Overdosage of Ventolin can cause death.
• The inhaler should be kept away from excessive heat and stored in a cool place.

• Do not use exceed the dose of VENTOLIN HFA than told by your doctor.
• If the side effects of Ventolin gets worsened, seek immediate medical help.
• Other Asthma medications should be used only with doctor\'s prescription.
• Pregnant women and breast feeding mothers should use this drug by doctor\'s advice.

Ventolin is used to treat the condition that causes excessive and prolonged contraction of the smooth muscle of the bronchi and bronchioles, resulting in an acute narrowing and obstruction of the respiratory air passage. This condition is called Bronchospasm also commonly known as Asthma. It is available in the form of Inhalers, solutions and tablets.

It is recommended to have the Ventolin inhaler handy at all times.
If the side effects of Ventolin worsen, the patient should seek medical help immediately.

• antidepressants like amitriptyline (Elavil, Etrafon), doxepin (Sinequan), imipramine (Janimine, Tofranil), nortriptyline (Pamelor)
• MAO inhibitors like isocarboxazid (Marplan), phenelzine (Nardil), rasagiline (Azilect), selegiline (Eldepryl, Emsam), or tranylcypromine (Parnate)
• Bronchodilators like levalbuterol (Xopenex), bitolterol (Tornalate), pirbuterol (Maxair), terbutaline (Brethine, Bricanyl), salmeterol (Serevent), isoetherine (Bronkometer), metaproterenol (Alupent, Metaprel), or isoproterenol (Isuprel Mistometer)

• The inhaler should be properly shaken before using.
• The mouthpiece of the inhaler should be put inside the mouth and then the metal canister should be pressed downwards slowly to release the medicine.
• The Ventolin inhaler should be kept without any dirt and should be stored at a cool place away from heat.
