What is Asacol?

Asacol is drug which is used to treat the symptoms of Ulcerative Colitis. Ulcerative colitis is a condition which causes inflammation of the intestines specifically the large intestine and causes symptoms such as pain in the abdomen, increase in body temperature and diarrhea. Asacol works by reducing the inflammation in the intestines and thus relieving the patient from all these symptoms.

If you are allergic to this drug or to any ingredient in this drug, you should avoid taking it.
If you are suffering from kidney problem, liver problem, blood problems such as clotting of blood or asthma, you should not use this drug without a prior consultation with your doctor about all these conditions that you are suffering from.
Pregnant women and nursing mothers should not Buy Asacol without their doctor’s advice.
You should take only the prescribed dosage in one single tablet and should not substitute that strength for 2 tablets of equal strength.

What side effects can it cause?

Asacol side effects are quite a few ranging from common to serious side effects and these include: Pain in the abdomen, feeling of nausea, vomit, diarrhea, pain in the head, feeling giddy, allergy on the skin, muscle spasm, pancreatic inflammation, liver inflammation, Problem with kidney, decreased RBC count etc. If you experience any of the above symptoms which do not cease and prove bothersome, seek immediate medical help.

Intake advice and directions

This medicine should be taken orally and regardless of meals in the exact prescribed dosage. The tablets should not be crushed or chewed and should be swallowed as a whole for the medicine to work better. To avoid any withdrawal symptoms, do not stop taking this drug without the doctor’s advice.
