Bactroban is used for the treatment of Bacterial infections.

• This medication should not be applied to the eyes.
• Bactroban nasal should be used cautiously in patients suffering from renal impairment.
• It should be given with extreme care to children younger then 12 years of age.

General information:

Bactroban is used to treat bacterial skin infections. It inhibits growth and reproduction of bacteria without killing them if used at low concentration. At high concentration, Bactroban inhibits the growth by killing the bacteria. It is available as a cream and an ointment.
