Becotide is used for the treatment of Asthma.

• Becotide spray should not be used if the patient is suffering from any nose injury or any other problem inside the nose.

• Becotide should be used cautiously in patients suffering from active untreated infections, diabetes, eye disease.
• It should be used with extreme care and with doctor's advice in children younger then 6 years.
• Patients taking this medication should get their adrenal checked regularly.
• Switching from steroids to Becotide my cause a patient to catch infections easily due to suppressed immune system.

Becotide drug interactions:

There are no significant drug interactions with Becotide.

Becotide should be taken exactly as prescribed and the dosage should not be increased or decreased on your own without the doctor's recommendation. The cap of the inhaler should be removed and shaken. Place the mouthpiece inside the mouth and press it. Inhale the spray and wait for few seconds before exhaling. There should be a gap of at least 1 minute between the inhalations.
