• Heart rate and rhythm and blood pressure should be monitored, especially at start of therapy.

Caduet is a medication approved by the US FDA for the treatment of high cholesterol and high blood pressure. It is a fixed dose combination drug containing atorvastatin (Lipitor) and amlodipine (Norvasc). Caduet is a newly approved medication which combines the cholestrol action of lipitor as well as the high blood pressure drug of norvasc. This medication is positioned to fight both of these health problems together in one pill. It is available in the form of tablets.
