IMITREX (SUMATRIPTAN)

Imitrex is a Prescription Medicine.

The initial dose of Imitrex that is recommended is 25-100 mg and should not exceed 200 mg in a day. The recommended dose for Nasal Spray is 5-20 mg and should not exceed a maximum of 40 mg.

Imitrex is used for the treatment of Severe Headaches known as migraine attacks.

Imitrex can cause rare but serious side effects on the heart, including heart attack or stroke. Talk to your doctor before taking Imitrex (Sumatriptan)

Breast feeding mothers should avoid feeding their babies for at least 12 hours after taking the drug.
Patients who have had a heart failure, brain cells damage, bowel disease, liver disease, High BP in the past should not Buy Imitrex.
The effects of this medication are not yet known in pregnant women, hence, pregnant women or those who plan to become pregnant during the use of this medicine must inform their doctor about it before taking Imitrex.

Imitrex is used for thr treatment of acute headache also known as migraine. Imitrex helps in controlling the substances in the body that initiate a headache. Imitrex tablets should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. They can be had with a glass of water, with or without food. The tablet should be swallowed as a whole and should not be broken or chewed.
If a patient is taking two tablets in a day, there should be a gap of minimum of 2 hours between the 2 doses. The maximum amount taken should not exceed 200 mg in a day.
In case of nasal spray also the gap between the 2 sprays should be at least 2 hours. The maximum dose of spray should not exceed 40 mg in a day.
