Sinemet is used for the treatment of Parkinson's disease.

• Sinemet should be used cautiously in elderly patients since the severity of side effects is more in them.

Carbidopa acts a carrier of Levodopa to the brain. Levodopa is a neurotransmitter. Sinemet is available in the form of tablets.
