Truvada is used for the treatment of HIV.

• Truvada drug should not be used in children below the age of 18 years without the doctor's advice as safety of the drug has not been established in them.
• People suffering from HIV virus and using Truvada medicine should avoid having unprotected sex.

• People taking Truvada medicine should not share the needles, brush and blades with another person.
• It should be used cautiously in patients suffering from renal impairment and obese patients.
• Patient on Truvada medication should be monitored closely for symptoms of lactic acidosis.
• The patient should be monitored after the withdrawal of the drug as discontinuation of Truvada also causes Hepatitis B virus.

General Information:

Truvada consists of 2 active drugs which are used for the treatment of infection by retroviruses primarily HIV. It consists of Emtricitabine and Tenofovir. Both these drugs terminate the virus replication thereby treating HIV preventing AIDS. Truvada is available in the form of tablets

People allergic to Truvada and its ingredients should not Buy Truvada.
People suffering from Liver problem, kidney problem, Decreased bone density, Hepatitis B should not take Truvada drug without the doctor's advice as they might need a dosage adjustment.

Truvada tablets should be given exactly as prescribed and the dosage should not be increased or decreased on your own without the doctor's advice. The medicine can be taken with water with or without food. People on this medication should get their blood tested regularly. The medicine should not be given with drug products containing Lamivudine.
