Xopenex is used for the treatment of Asthma and COPD.

• Xopenex should not be used in children below the age of 6 years as the safety of this drug has not been yet established in them.

Nebullized Xopenex should be used properly so that the medicine gets absorbed by the lungs properly. It should be used as directed. An opened vial should be used immediately else should be destroyed. I the solution of the medicine has suspended particles in it or if the solution is not clear, it should not be used and should be thrown away.
