• People on Zanaflex medication should avoid the use of alcoholic drinks.
• People taking Zanaflex medicine should avoid the use of dangerous machinery and other hazardous activities as this drug induces sleep and reduces alertness.

• Zanaflex should not be taken if the patient is on Luvox or Cipro medication at the same time.
• Zanaflex dosage should not be increased on your own as it might cause liver damage.
• It should be used cautiously in patients suffering from renal or hepatic impairment.
• It should be used with care in elderly patients as the severity of side effects is more in them.

Zanaflex is a drug that relaxes the muscles. It affects the skeletal muscle function and decreases the muscle tone. It is used to lessen the involuntary contraction of muscles and the pain and also the overactive reflexes. It also treats the tightness of the muscles caused by the autoimmune disorder, paralysis, pain in the back and certain injuries. Zanaflex is availble in the form of tablets.
